Maisie Peters Kicks Off A New Era With ‘Body Better’

"One of the most honest songs I've ever released..."

Maisie Peters has shared new single ‘Body Better’.

The songwriter won huge success with her 2021 debut album ‘You Signed Up For This’, before being hand-picked to support Ed Sheeran on his Mathematics stadium tour. Playing to millions, Maisie then took this energy into the focus, focussing her efforts on a brand new album.

There’s much more to come, but this new era opens with zesty single ‘Body Better’. A bold pop song, it deals with a break-up, insecurities, and the way women’s bodies are picked apart by society at large.

Penned alongside Ines Dunn and producer Matias Téllez, it comes as Maisie Peters prepares to hit the road in April. She comments…

“’Body Better’ is one of the most honest songs I’ve ever released, and definitely the most personal…”

“I wrote it after a breakup and it deals with the ugly things you think to yourself in the aftermath, when you’re painstakingly going through everything small thing you did and were and wondering what you could have changed. It’s a song about insecurity and vulnerability, about giving a lot of yourself away to someone who decides they don’t want it anymore and knowing where to go from there.”

Tune in now.
