Madonna On Obama Win

"Best Day Of My Life" Singer Claims

Freshly divorced Queen Of Pop Madonna has claimed on stage in California that Barack Obama’s recent win in the US presidential election was the “best day of my life”.

The singer has been a fervent supporter of the Democratic candidate since the election campaign began. Madonna infamously banned Republican politician Sarah Palin from her shows, while the singer also broadcast a video that seemingly compared Obama’s rival John McCain to Adolf Hitler.

A Republican spokesperson branded these actions “outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time.”

The singer commented on the election result while playing a show in California’s Petco Park last night (November 5th). “Are you as happy as I am? Let’s hear it for Obama. It’s the best day of my life,” Street quotes Madonna as saying. The singer then went on to say Obama’s victory was “beginning of a whole new world”.
