Madonna is to release ‘The Complete Studio Albums (1983-2008)’ this Monday (March 26th).
One of pop’s true icons, Madonna’s output has continually shifted with the singer re-inventing herself on an almost daily basis. With new album ‘M.D.N.A.’ – see what she did there? – almost ready for release, the singer is preparing for a catch-all style look back at her career.
‘The Complete Studio Albums (1983-2008)’ is a new box set which does exactly what is says on the tin. Bringing together all eleven of Madonna’s studio albums for the first time, the collection moves from 1983’s self-titled debut to 2008’s ‘Hard Candy’.
Tracing the evolution of a pop phenomenon, there’s no bonus material as such although the packaging is fairly lavish.
Featuring eight UK number one albums, ‘The Complete Studio Albums (1983-2008)’ is due to be released on Monday (March 26th).
Meanwhile, iTunes are set to slash prices on Madonna’s back catalogue. All studio albums will be priced from £3.95, with the price of the singer’s individual hits pushed back down to a mere 59p.
The reason for all this? Madonna is set to release ‘M.D.N.A’ on Monday (March 26th). The singer’s first studio album in four years, it has been trailed with a series of short YouTube clips.
