Machine Gun Kelly slated Slipknot onstage at Riot Fest over the weekend.
Slipknot's Corey Taylor criticised the singer during an interview earlier this year, doubting his credentials as a rock artist.
He said Machine Gun Kelly aimed to “take something that’s been around forever and then just basically rework it and call it new – even though it’s completely derivative”.
Machine Gun Kelly hit back onstage at Riot Fest in Chicago, sharing a bill with Slipknot.
He told the crowd: “You wanna know what I’m really happy that I’m not doing? Being 50 years old wearing a f***ing weird mask on a f***ing stage!”
