Band To Play Boutique Festivals

The Maccabees have announced plans to play a series of festival dates this summer, in between recording their new album.

The band originally hail from Brighton and are currently on a short tour of intimate venues in order to road test the new material. Currently hard at work shaping new material, The Maccabees have revealed plans to play a series of smaller, independent festivals. During the week they will record their new album, but then come the weekend they will pack up and head off to such festivals as Redfest, Underage Festival, Beachdown and Get Loaded In The Park.

The Maccabees have confirmed the following festival dates:

May 31st – Summer Party, Nottingham University
July 4th – Redfest, Redhill, Surrey
August 8th – Underage Festival, Victoria Park, London
August 23rd – Beachdown Festival, Devils Dyke, Brighton
August 24th – Get Loaded In The Park, Clapham Common, London
