Mac DeMarco is set to release new album 'Here Comes The Cowboy' on May 10th.
The songwriter is back again, announcing a Margate all-dayer and now plans for some brand new material.
'Here Comes The Cowboy' will be released on May 10th, and it's a Mac feast: he played, wrote, and recorded virtually the whole album on his own.
Written, tracked and mixed at DeMarco’s Jizz Jazz Studios in Los Angeles during the first two weeks January 2019, the process was shrouded by the unusual rainy season that welcomed LA into the New Year.
Mac comments: “This one is my cowboy record. Cowboy is a term of endearment to me, I use it often when referring to people in my life. Where I grew up there are many people that sincerely wear cowboy hats and do cowboy activities. These aren’t the people I’m referring to.”
