LYLO return with new single ‘If The Light Is On’.

The Scottish-rooted project will release new album ‘Thoughts Of Never’ on May 10th, a dose of experimental pop built around some stellar ideas. Each single to emerge from the release inhabits its own world, and their latest release is no exception.

Out now, ‘If The Light Is On’ merges skeletal pop-edged electronics with dulcet notes of R&B. The single is haunted by an otherworldly atmosphere, the dream-like qualities of LYLO’s ethereal musicality coming to the fore.

Discussing the song, LYLO label it “a glimmer of hope in the midst of an ethereal, city soundscape”, before commenting: “The song was written as a cathartic experience to tackle metropolitan melancholy whilst finding comfort in its often vast, lonely spaces and those you wish you could reach.”

The video is out now, filmed in Berlin alongside Daniel Nellis – aided by Berlin artist Kim Schönauer, the DIY sculptures in the clip were inspired by the work of Josef Svoboda.

Tune in now.
