LVRA Revels In Freedom On Club Burner ‘venom’

"A song that oozes confidence..."

Chinese-Scottish multi-hyphenate LVRA has shared new cut ‘venom’.

A figure steeped in club energy, she translates this into meta-fantastic alt-pop shapes. New project ‘soft like steel’ is out on March 22nd, with LVRA sharing new track ‘venom’ as a preview.

A tantalising glimpse of her potential, it finds the Glasgow based figure revelling in freedom. A song where all bets are off, ‘venom’ allows her imagination to run riot, a blaze of colour and dici-soaked melody.

LVRA comments…

‘venom’ is a song that oozes confidence out like green sticky dew, and was written after a particularly eventful night out. For me, going to clubs is a chance to put on all the shit I can’t wear during the day – it’s a place where I’ve seen so much individuality and style, and queer club scene here in London has been where I’ve been able to explore my own queerness – something that I never felt safe enough to do before I came here.

As a kid I was able to explore alternative styles through the internet and instagram – but existing in that community, seeing it in the flesh – it really gives you a whole other level of confidence. And craziness!

Tune in now.
