Lush To Reform

Shoegaze legends announce live date...

Lush were one of the foremost voices in what would become known as shoegaze, with their 4AD-aligned material winning enormous critical acclaim.

A full box set retrospective will be released by 4AD this year, with the band now outlining plans for their reformation. Yep, the original line up will gather once more – with Elastica's Justin Welch on drums – for a live show next spring.

Lush will play London venue the Roundhouse on May 6th, with tickets going on sale this Wednesday (September 30th) at 9am – link.

"The opportunities and practicalities of reforming Lush meant that for 20 years it was an impossible undertaking," explained band member Miki Berenyi. "But we all loved what we did, and the time is finally right for us to do it again."
