The songwriter has a novel solution to the winter blues – music, and a quick move to Los Angeles.
The English artist and his wife – and illustrator by trade – will relocate to the West Coast in January, and music will follow them every step of the way.
New single 'Love Is Hard Enough Without The Winter' is online now, following sessions at Jackpot Studios in Portland.
A frosted antidote to saccharine Christmas anthems, it's a tender portrayal of love and its complications.
“When you’re deep in a relationship, working out kinks, making and breaking bad habits and basically just doing the sometimes tough work of staying together, the last thing you need is the daily backdrop of a cold, wet, miserable winter,” says Luke of the new single. “So we decided to fuck off to Los Angeles to experience an endless summer.”
