Lucy Park’s ‘All Roads’ Grapples With A New Sound

It's a teasing return...

Lucy Park changes it up on new single ‘All Roads’.

The single opens with nylon guitar, the dulcet tones discussing fondness and love. The introduction sits with her prior work – the careful arrangement, the spartan musicality, and the use of her voice as a vessel for emotion, and empathy.

But then she switches it up. The beat kicks in and all of a sudden the adrenalin takes off, the electronic kick lifting ‘All Roads’ up to the heavens. Aiming to capture “a summer night out in London” it’s a song that speaks of freedom, and the need to embrace something new.

Rushing to that fantastic chorus, ‘All Roads’ is an inspiration, a song that stays stuck on your mind for days at an end. She comments…

“The song is sort of a dance back and forth between them. It’s about building up a romance in your head while you are still strangers in real life. This is a really new sound for me and I’m so excited for people to hear it!”

Tune in now.
