Lucky Daye Shares New Single ‘That’s You’

"I sang my heart out..."

LA-based R&B force Lucky Daye returns with new single ‘That’s You’.

Raised in the South, Lucky Daye’s complexities shone on his extraordinary 2019 debut album ‘Painted’. Earning a Grammy for 2021 EP ‘Table For Two’, he’s quietly become one of the most emphatic, influential forces in modern R&B.

Ending a period of silence, new single ‘That’s You’ is Lucky Daye at his most empathetic and direct. Out now, it’s a soulful message from a voice to treasure, bringing others into the studio to enable his creative vision.

Co-written and co-produced by Bruno Mars, ‘That’s You’ has a vintage sense of elastic funk in its DNA, alongside something more future-facing. Commenting on the release, Lucky Daye says:

“I sang my heart out on ‘That’s You.’ I felt like I was on the moon. I want people to think about that one person they just can’t be without when they listen. Hopefully that person is a good person.”

Tune in now.
