Low Island Launch New Album ‘Life In Miniature’

It's a "sonic photo album..."

Low Island will release new album ‘Life In Miniature’ on November 4th.

The band’s second album, it features more delicious alt-pop abstraction. Moving on from the promise of their debut, ‘Life In Miniature’ aims to overhaul their methodologies, while remaining true to their melodic instincts.

Low Island label it a “sonic photo album; a journey through three years of accelerated change that felt like a lifetime…”

New single ‘Can’t Forget’ leads the way, and it’s online now. The jagged rhythms remind us of Foals, while the hallucinogenic chorus feels like a lysergic-soaked pop experiment.

A fusion of different elements, the quiet dichotomies in their sound make for some delicious creative friction. Singer Carlos Posada comments: “it’s a reflection on the headyness of youth and a fear of growing up. Verse 2 is a nod to the day I left home; as I drove down the street, I caught my Dad crying and waving me away in the wing-mirror of my car. It’s one of those memories that gets printed right onto the front of your mind and that you never forget.”
