Brazilian party popper Lovefoxxx of CSS has unveiled a hand crafted guitar which will be auctioned for charity.
Lovefoxx is one of the most boisterous front women around. Together with the rest of CSS the singer tries to get the party started wherever she goes, with the group’s self-titled debut album still rockin’ the house.
Last year’s follow up ‘Donkey’ may have been poorly received, but Lovefoxxx remains a star. The singer was invited to design a special guitar alongside a handful of other artists, with the instruments then being auctioned for charity.
However Lovefoxxx wasn’t about to start letting people down, and with her hugely imaginative design has crafted an instrument both beautiful and bizarre. The beneficiaries of the auction are The ABC Trust and their A Forca da Rua exhibition, with the bidding due to begin on April 29th.
Amongst the artists set to exhibit their work as part of the event are Kid Acne, Inkie, Calma and many more. In a strange twist Queen guitarist Brian May is also set to be a part of the auction, with the legendary guitar player offering a two hour one on one lesson to the highest bidder.
May’s guitar skills are legendary, and he shares a love of unique instruments with Lovefoxxx. The guitarist famously plays an instrument assembled from a kit, which he strums with a coin. Beat that Lovefoxxx!
The ABC Trust auction takes place in London on April 29th.
