Los Campesinos! have decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day by unveiling the video for their track ‘Songs About Your Girlfriend’.
Valentine’s Day – bah, humbug.
Of all public holidays, Valentine’s Day is probably the easiest to feel alienated by. A festivity organised by the corporations, used by selfish boyfriends and insecure girlfriends to smooth over the cracks of their relationships.
Sound familiar? Los Campesinos! have been there, friend. Check out the video for ‘Songs About Your Girlfriend’ – a seething, alienated look at the business of lust.

Looking ahead, Los Campesinos! are building up to their new UK tour. the dates run through the second half of March. Opening in Exeter on March 20th, the shows continue with performances in Bristol, Oxford and more.
Hitting London on March 22nd, the Cardiff based group will perform at the Electric Ballroom. Shifting around the country, Los Campesinos! will then focus on dates in Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and more.
Ending in Sheffield on March 31st, tickets are on sale now.
