Multi-limbed Welsh indie collective Los Campesinos! have issued a new track as a free download.
Los Campesinos! don’t like to sit still. Live, the group are a six-strong bundle of energy, leaping around to their gleeful anthems. Currently touring the United States, the group are due to return to the UK shortly for more dates.
All this energy has transferred itself into an admirable work ethic in the studio. Los Campesinos! recorded their debut album in a blitz of energy, before returning to lay down some more tracks.
Released as the album length (but no officially an LP fact fans!) ‘We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed’ the resulting sessions saw the group record some of their finest material to date.
Teaming up with producer John Goodmanson, Los Campesinos! recently returned to the studio to work on their official second album. Recording sessions appear to have gone well, with the band also taking time to tour across the United States.
Along the way Los Campesinos! picked up some souvenirs. Piling them into a Record Box this has formed a unique collection of memorabilia, containing rare seven inches from touring partners, favourite groups and more.
