Influential Los Angeles club night Low End Theory is set to come to an end.
The night was founded in 2006 by Daddy Kev along with DJ Nobody and D-Styles, and helped to galvanise the LA beats scene.
Attracting global attention, it's fusion of bass music, hip-hop, and left field electronics seemed to spark entire genres into life.
Over the years guest have included Flying Lotus (frequently) and Thom Yorke, while the LA club has also gone on its travels, popping up in London, Tokyo, and beyond.
Now it's set to come to an end. Low End Theory has confirmed its intention to shutter, with the final ten nights climaxing on August 8th.
A statement reads: "To every artist who has blessed our stage, we are grateful. To every person who has joined us on the dancefloor, you are the primary source of inspiration for making Low End Theory happen every Wednesday since October 2006."
Low End Theory ends on August 8th.
