London Grammar Share New Single ‘Into Gold’

Tapping into their core...

London Grammar have shared new single ‘Into The Gold’.

Out now, the new release comes as London Grammar prepare their tent and picnic box for a trip to Worthy Farm – they’re headlining Glastonbury’s Park Stage on Sunday (June 30th).

New album ‘The Greatest Love’ is out on September 13th, and it follows the creative and commercial success of 2021’s number one album ‘Californian Soil’.

New single ‘Into The Gold’ leads the way, and it taps into their core values; crisp electronic pop, the gleaming melodies lift up those emotive lyrics, so infused with melancholy.

A song about loss and perseverance, ‘Into The Gold’ is marked by maturity – speaking about the new single Hannah Reid says…

Into Gold’ is about mourning loss and overcoming heartbreak. It’s interesting, as I think it’s a bit more like old London Grammar. As much as I love our old music, I’ve definitely moved into a different phase where I notice how different my voice sounds on the older material; it’s a lot more sad.

I think in our newer material I might be touching on things that are sad but telling the story in more of a celebratory way. With ‘Into Gold’ it’s been carved up and dressed up so beautifully by Dan and Dot.

Tune in now.
