Lourdes Leon Aka Lolahol has shared new single ‘Boy Next Door’, a cover of the Judy Garland original lifted from MGM Christmas musical film Meet Me In St. Louis.
Out on Eartheater’s Chemical X imprint, Lolahol’s smooth and frictionless vocal glides over a weightless mesh of sub-bass and breakbeats. ‘Boy Next Door’ was teased a few weeks ago at the launch of Ganni x Dr Martens; the release follows 2022 project ‘Go’ and the muggy, trip-hop infused ‘Spelling’, released earlier this year.
With the new year beckoning, Lolahol is gearing up to release a more extensive project and will make her debut at Primavera Sound 2024.
