Local Natives return with punchy new single ‘Just Before The Morning’.
The band surged back into view with a recent double single, supplying fans with new songs ‘Desert Snow’ and ‘Hourglass’. Hitting the road, Local Natives then completed a stellar run of festival performances, including Osheaga, Lollapalooza, and more.
New single ‘Just Before The Morning’ taps into the fading energies of summer, with Local Natives embodying their West Coast roots. Recorded in Los Angeles – using Valentine Recording Studio, 64Sound and Sargent Recorders – the hazy psych-pop feel is met by some bubbling percussive aspects.
A subtle but striking return, ‘Just Before The Morning’ is a point of reconnection for Local Natives. The band comment…
“‘Just Before The Morning’ came from a burst of creativity after we finally reconnected in the studio. The song explores the cyclical nature of life and the many ways in which we begin again.”
Accompanied by some neat visuals, the single seems to tap into Local Natives’ effervescent core – tune in now.
