Local Natives Announce New Album ‘But I’ll Wait For You’

It's out on April 19th...

Local Natives will release new album ‘But I’ll Wait For You’ on April 19th.

The American band have laid out plans for their sixth LP, a companion piece of sorts to last year’s ‘Time Will Wait For No One’. Drawing on a similar well of creative energy, it has a character of its own – “an exhale to an inhale”, as the band put it.

Local Natives live energy seeps into the recordings, with the group working with alacrity. Out on April 19th via Loma Vista, they comment:

‘But I’ll Wait For You’ is the companion piece to our 2023 release ‘Time Will Wait For No One’. Maybe not an answer to a question but an exhale to an inhale. There is so little that’s in our control but among all this chaos, we can choose to be there for each other.

New single ‘April’ is out now, a zesty return back by a net video. Shot by Jon Chu, the one shot video references Francis Ford Coppola’s film The Conversation and climaxes with Local Natives dancing in LA’s Pershing Square.

Tune in now.
