L’Objectif Return With New Track ‘ITSA’

A new era is on the way…

L’Objectif have shared their new single ‘ITSA’.

It’s the first new release since the band found acclaim with their second EP, 2022’s ‘We Aren’t Getting Out But Tonight We Might’, which arrived in the midst of their A Levels last summer.

Released via Chess Club Records and co-produced by frontman Saul Kane and Ali Chant (Yard Act, Dry Cleaning, Katy J Pearson), ‘ITSA’ teases a longer project from the Leeds four-piece. Sold on its easy rhythm and feel-good riff, the track is a kick back, swaying late-summer tune driven home by Saul’s delivery. He explains…

“Lyrically, it’s about our moral conscience but also I think I realised you can just say ‘yeah come on come on’ for an entire chorus if it works, rather than over complicating everything. We shot the video around Leeds as well as in our local pub, which felt fitting as most of the lyrics were written on drunken walks home from there…”
