An artist who blends her music with her innermost feelings, lleo decides to face her vulnerabilities head-on with this latest project.
Out now, 'Trust Issues' is dominated by that superb vocal, so pointed and precise in its intent, blended with lleo's evocative lyrical touch.
A song about embracing vulnerability and learning to move past this, it ultimately ends with lleo finding a forward path.
“I’ve never felt more vulnerable than right now putting 'Trust Issues' out," she muses. "'Trust Issues' is about feeling broken and disconnected from the person closest to you, because of your own actions. I wanted to encapsulate that feeling of hopelessness and sadness, where you don’t know how to make things right and improve your situation – it’s very raw and I hope people respect that I’m being so honest."
"Although lyrically 'Trust Issues' is pretty sad, I really didn’t want it to feel dreary or depressing, so we based the whole track around a banging beat. I want to make sure that people can take something emotional from my music, but I also want to make people move and feel good, and my way of doing that was to create an instrumental that makes you move."
