Little Simz has closed out the year with new single ‘Hello, Hi’.
It’s been a big year for the rapper, who played a stellar set at Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage – a performance CLASH lauded as one of 2024’s very best.
Hitting the studio, speculation has mounted over her next step. Wiping her socials sent fans into a frenzy, before Little Simz decided to grace us with new material.
Stylistically the slinky guitar line on ‘Hello, Hi’ seems to point to those Millennial R&B bangers, but there’s a sharp edge to the arrangement.
The lyrics are a point of re-introduction, a dose of self-analysis that works perfectly for the New Year / New Me season.
So, a new Simz album in 2025…? We can but hope.
