Little Man Tate Return

Single, tour planned

Sheffield indie group Little Man Tate are set to return with a new single and a short UK headlining tour planned.

Formed around frontman Jon Windle, the group’s honest indie music found favour with fans mobilised via an innovative internet campaign. The band signed to V2 Records, but parted ways within a year. Ironically their first single since leaving the label – ‘Sexy In Latin’ – was their biggest hit.

The ever productive band have already released two albums in two years. Debut record ‘About What You Know’ hit in 2007, swiftly followed the following year by ‘Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy’.

Now signed to Skint Records, the band are set to make it three in a row with a new album due later in the year. Forthcoming single ‘I Am Alive’ was written by the group for the Yorkshire Sports Awards and will be released on March 23rd.

The new single will precede Little Man Tate’s biggest ever headline show in Rotherham’s 4000 capacity Magna venue. The band’s forthcoming tour dates in full are:

March
28 Sheffield Magna

April
30 Glasgow Hinterland Festival
