Little Boots has unveiled plans for her first new album in four years, with 'Nocturnes' set to drop on May 6th.
Real name Victoria Hesketh, Little Boots was a victim of timing. Ranked high up in the BBC Sound Of… poll, the singer seemed to take slightly too long to deliver her debut album. 'Hands' may have went Gold, but in the wake of debut offerings from Florence & The Machine et al it felt slightly underwhelming.
Taking time off, Little Boots is now ready to focus on her second album. Produced by DFA Records co-founder Tim Goldsworthy, other names associated with the record include Simian Mobile Disco's James Ford and Hercules and Love Affair's Andy Butler.
