Listen: Yoshi Flower – ‘Dirty Water’

LA based polymath returns...

Los Angeles songwriter Yoshi Flower returns with new single 'Dirty Water' – tune in now.

The songwriter received his first guitar at the age of 20, and it's scarcely left his side since, a constant companion, a means to communicate.

Passionate about all forms of music, he's soaked up elements of R&B, fractured hip-hop, and so much more, developing a vastly distinctive voice in the process.

Working with everyone from incendiary rapper Rico Nasty to emerging artist Reddish Blu and Jesse Rutherford of The Neighbourhood, 2019 will bring a slew of solo cuts from the LA artist.

New single 'Dirty Water' seems shrouded in the dirt of the everyday, a voice struggling to be heard over the everyday struggles of simply getting through life.

Yoshi comments: “’Dirty Water’, love and liquor, dependency, hope. I don't remember writing the song, but I do know these methods of filling some void informed the creation. We're all like fish swimming along in schools or all alone, as the water gets murkier and the screens get clearer.”

Tune in now.
