It's a loved up dose of infectious funk-pop...

Spreading the feel-good-factor this September is the Australian funk-pop outfit Winston Surfshirt.

‘Smile’, their fruity new single, is another slice of their upcoming album, ‘Apple Crumble’. The track is an ode to Winston’s beau. “She has the most contagious smile” the singer says.

And what better way is there to tell someone you love them than by writing a song about them, eh? And it’s not a mopey lump of feelings like the mushed digestive biscuit you find in the bottom of your mug either. No, this colourful track from the Aussie groovemasters is a colourful parade of sonic bliss.

With bouyuant brass bouncing amidst shimmering soundscapes and an inarguably infectious chorus, it’s a wonder that you don’t dissipate into a sunnier other realm.

This is a love song done right.

‘Apple Crumble’ is set to be released in November.
