A wonderful, touching piece of music...
Will Stratton

Will Stratton has shared his wonderful new track 'Manzanita' - tune in now.

New album 'Rosewood Almanac' is incoming, a superbly soothing, slightly Autumnal collection of warmly personal songwriting.

New cut 'Manzanita' leads the way, and it's a beautiful, gilded offering, with the lilting piano set against brushed drums and softly enticing acoustic chords.

The vocal tumbles over each word, before breathlessly exclaiming: "I love the way that we grow old..."

Will Stratton explains: "I wrote 'Manzanita' last spring. It was the final song I wrote for this album, and it's about watching plants bloom and take root at the same time as people grow and adapt and age, and how beautiful that can be. Sandy Gordon plays the drums, Gabriel Birnbaum plays the saxophone, Maia Friedman sings backup, and I do the rest, aside from a little swell of strings at the end."

Tune in now.
