Danish artist Vera returns with new song 'Diamonds'.
The Copenhagen based alt-pop talent released debut EP 'Good Job No Conversation' at the tail end of last year, introducing a vivid new voice.
With 2018 now swinging into gear it's clear that the Nordic songwriter has big plans, with new song 'Diamonds' demonstrating his soaring ambition.
Taking things a notch, the sensual production evokes a prowling lounge lizard, a Bryan Ferry type figure reconfigured for the 21st century.
Slick, smooth, and stylish, it's an intelligently crafted return with a chorus that seeps its way into your sub-conscious. Vera:
"'Diamonds' is a about being pushed away by the people that you really trust and love. It’s about trying to demean them in your own head to make things easier, but still knowing deep inside how much you care."
"Musically it’s all about smooth saxophones and lounge vibes combined with a classical pop dynamic. It’s definitely the most pop track I've made as Vera. And probably my favourite Vera song so far."
