The Ghostly aligned producer – real name Scott Hansen – makes wonderful use of colour and texture, managing to make a little go an extremely long way.
New cut 'Epoch' exemplifies this. Taken from the American artist's upcoming album, it opens in near ambient climes, with Scott Hansen seeming to locate an immense sense of inner calm.
The track then explodes into life, echoing the proto techno experiments of early Juan Atkins while replacing that dyptopian Detroit sensibility with something rather more optimistic.
