Born from Bristol’s ever-buoyant independent scene, Trust Fund – hinging on Ellis Jones – are close to releasing their debut album.
Available from February 9th via Turnstile, ‘No one coming for us’ is preceded by new cut ‘Essay to write’. Charmingly shambolic, the pounding drums are reminiscent of Moe Tucker or even Scottish indie pop doyens The Vaselines.
The vocals are sugar sweet, while the track itself seems to switch between harsh distorted tones and something rather more gentle. Obeying rules and whims of all of its own, you can tune in below:
