Liverpool group Trudy And The Romance have shared new charmer 'Is There A Place I Can Go'.
The band's mutant pop charms have been winning friends across the land, with new EP 'Junkyard Jazz' incoming.
The title itself is an indication of their approach: patching together elements from the past in a freeform, engaging fashion.
“Our stuff’s like a collage and we’re trying to jigsaw it all together,” explains Olly. “The songs on the EP are meant to be loose but compact. It ties together as a bunch of different little stories; Junkyard Jazz, a messy love.”
New track 'Is There A Place I Can Go' was recorded in a former vicarage, and the eccentricities don't stop there – doo wop harmonies combined with post-punk guitars, it's a real trip.
