London psychedelic crew TOY have shared new single 'You Make Me Forget Myself' – tune in now.
The band's new album 'Happy In The Hollow' will be released on January 25th, following some sessions at their home studios.
Mixed at Dan Carey’s Studio B in South London, it's a daring return, one that finds TOY challenging their own conceptions of the band at every turn.
New song 'You Make Me Forget Myself' is online now, a zero-gravity shoegaze jewel with a hint of electronics that recalls the haunted ambience of Ry Cooder's score for Paris, Texas.
Bass player Panda takes lead vocal for the first time, and TOY explain:
“It has a feeling of estrangement about it. The sound of someone you love who's going away and it doesn't matter. It's the first song Maxim has sung lead on and Dominic plays slide reminiscent of Ry Cooder on the Paris, Texas soundtrack.”
Tune in now.
