TOY have posted new cut ‘Dead & Gone’ – a seven minute long cut stripped from their debut album.
TOY caught our attention in January and then never let go. The band hosted a residency at the Shacklewell Arms in London, causing immediate ripples amongst fans of lysergic, tripped out rock music.
Probing, penetrating lumps of sound, TOY’s live set soon saw them invited to a Clash night where they left a deep impact on the sold out crowd. The band are gearing up for the release of their debut album with a new 12 inch, featuring the expansive cut ‘Dead & Gone’.
All swirling, psychedelic organ, cymbal crashes and grinding guitars the track seems to take a quantum leap in the middle, propelling TOY still further.
Emerging online yesterday, you can stream it below. (via TheQuietus)
