Tom Grennan has shared powerful new single 'Sober' – tune in now.
The songwriter is set to release his debut full length in May, having spent much of 2017 either on the road or in the studio.
Amid this frenetic schedule Tom Grennan has found time to burrow within himself, uncovering new facets of his life and personality.
New song 'Sober' emerges from this process. Dwelling on his relationship with alcohol, it deals with morning after regret in a stark yet enticing way.
Tom explains: “I wanted to write about always getting really drunk. At one point in my life, I hated getting drunk, but I was always doing it, and the morning after I would always feel guilty. Then the next day I would get fucked up again. It's about me not letting myself get sober. Then it took this whole different twist. It's like a Bond song, and it's one of the only songs on the record that takes me on a rollercoaster.”
