It's a stone cold boogie...

The Black Keys are back, with the blues rock duo sharing their first new single in five years.

The pair's stripped back sound took them from the garage rock underground to mainstream recognition, with Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney more recently focussing on an array of solo projects.

New single 'Lo/Hi' finds the two re-uniting, and it's a rough-hewn boogie monster built around Dan Auerbach's electrifying guitar.

A bruising, ominous return, 'Lo/Hi' has plenty of The Black Keys trademark grit, with the backing vocals adding a sense of Southern soul.
