Listen To Sam Fender’s New Single ‘Alright’

A coming-of-age tale...

Sam Fender has shared new single ‘Alright’.

It’s been an incredible 12 months for the North East lad, with second album ‘Seventeen Going Under’ truly striking a chord with fans. Becoming a breakout moment, he’s earned a BRIT nomination, and toured endlessly across the land.

Recently playing a knockout Glastonbury set, Sam Fender now has his sights set on a huge London show. Taking over Finsbury Park, he’ll be joined by Fontaines DC, beabadoobee, and many more, with the music kicking off in a matter of hours.

Clash will be on-site, and we’re able to share something new from Sam Fender in the run up. Recorded during sessions for ‘Seventeen Going Under’, new single ‘Alright’ swaps Heartland Rock bombast for something more melodic, it deals with coming-of-age and the spectre of growing old.

Sam comments…

“’Alright’ is one of the first tracks from the ‘Seventeen Going Under’ era. It was always a favourite of mine, and somehow didn’t make the record. It’s about growing up and the theme of cheating death.”

Tune in now.
