"I feel like we're in the end of art, human art..."

Grimes has appeared on Sean Carroll's podcast Mindscape.

The podcast is themed around our relationship to technology, a theme Grimes is essentially an expert on.

Having studied neuroscience at McGill University in Montreal before focussing on music, she brings a huge amount of knowledge to the podcast.

There's controversial opinions, too: "I feel like we're in the end of art, human art," she says at one point.

"Once there's actually AGI (Artificial General Intelligence), they're gonna be so much better at making art than us...once AI can totally master science and art, which could happen in the next 10 years, probably more like 20 or 30 years."

As for her own music, Grimes now asserts she is "post-style" and is working on a digital avatar, possibly named "War nymph".

Grimes' new album 'Miss Anthropocene' will be released on February 21st.
