Azari & III have unveiled a new remix of courtesy of fellow Toronto resident Tiga.
Toronto seems to be brimming with new music right now. New groups and producers are emerging almost weekly, with the distance involved adding a sense of romance for British audiences.
Azari & III are amongst the most compulsive. The collective are fuelled by classic house textures but their debut album – self-titled, naturally – is a mixture of disco and electronica, moody preening and politics.
New single ‘Reckless (For Your Love)’ is set to drop on February 12th. Accompanying the British issue of their debut album, Azari & III have confirmed remixes from Julio Bashmore, Riva Starr and Tiga.

Speaking to ClashMusic recently, Azari & III mused on the influence Toronto has had on them. “There’s a lot of crossover – musicians, writers, designers, critics. There’s a lot of people that are internationally respected for their opinions in writing – fashion writing, music writing. If anything, Toronto has a really good history of fashion, music and literature. Very strong arts city. Maybe the quality is one of the best in North America. It’s definitely quite overwhelming.”
