Listen: Thom Yorke – ‘Has Ended’

It's taken from his new Suspiria score...

Thom Yorke has shared powerful new piece 'Has Ended' – tune in now.

The Radiohead frontman agreed to score Luca Guadagnino's reimagining of the 1977 Dario Argento horror classic Suspiria, re-casting the origin's famed score by the prog group Goblin.

Casting away any previous work, the resulting soundtrack project is wonderfully fully-realised, ranging from meditative pieces, Radiophonic Workshop homages, and full-blown Thom Yorke solo pieces.

Taken from the project, 'Has Ended' is a haunting piece, dominated by that slovenly pace, fractured harmonium notes, and Thom Yorke's heavily treated vocals.

The songwriter's son Noah Yorke contributes drums, and the piece feels like an unsettling counterpart of Alice Coltrane's 'Journey In Satchidananda'.

Tune in now.

The 'Suspiria' score will be released in full on October 26th.
