The Vaccines have posted new track 'Everybody's Gonna Let You Down' online – listen to it below.
The Vaccines are clearly in the mood to unwind. Spending almost 12 months on the road, the band recently decided to get back into the studio. Working at Eldorado Studios in Burbank, L.A. the rolling desert clearly impacted on the group's consciousness.
Recent track 'Melody Calling' boasted an acoustic guitar, no less, with The Vaccines steering away from their rama-lama garage rock thump.
Part of a four track EP, 'Everybody's Gonna Let You Down' continues this pattern. Once again, an acoustic sits at the centre with the chord sequence recalling the offbeat way Kurt Cobain would usurp standard pop structures.
A slacker hymn, it's one of the catchiest yet downbeat offerings the band have yet concocted. Produced by John Hill and Rich Costey, you can listen to it below.
