Listen: The Invisible – Rispah

New album emerges online

The Invisible are streaming their second album ‘Rispah’ online in its entirety – listen to it now.

Let’s get this out the way first: The Invisible’s new album ‘Rispah’ is a pretty fantastic listen. The Clash team have united to make it our ‘Album of the Week’ with writer Anna Wilson commenting: “Undulating washes of sound, African vocal harmonies, jazzy psychedelic noodles, polyrhythms and trailing Moroder synths wrapped up in a big hairy blanket of skilful musicianship; ‘Rispah’ is an infectious interplay between indie and electronica which is cerebral yet instantly accessible.”

Now you can get a piece of the action. Out today, ‘Rispah’ is streaming online courtesy of Ninja Tune – listen to it below.

“We found our true identity touring the last record,” Dave Okumu commented. “So for this one, I remember us talking about making something emotional, something beautiful. We didn’t want to repeat ourselves, and we discussed reducing the number of things in our palette, having only select sounds.”
