The Good, The Bad & The Queen have shared jaunty new track 'Gun To The Head'.
The Damon Albarn led project is back, with new album 'Merrie Land' said to reflect the chaos of Brexit.
Out on November 16th and co-produced by Tony Visconti, the record will be trailed by a series of UK shows.
The Good, The Bad & The Queen have leaped into the new week with a Bonfire Night firecracker, sharing new song 'Gun To The Head'.
The jaunty rhythm recalls fairground music, while the sombre vocals hint at something much darker, something "conspiring to tear us apart…"
There's a lot to unpick in such a short song – for example, does the ending consciously echo The Beatles' 'A Day In The Life'?
