The sweet innocence of 'TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME' adds autotune effects to Matty Healey's vocal, twisting their sound in a saccharine direction.
It's a neat twist, sitting against the melancholic twinge of the lyrics, which focus on a break up: "You wet my eyes / But I don't mind it…"
Honing in on the pleasure/pain paradox, The 1975 leave the final guilt-laden twist to last: "I didn't mean to too time you…"
