Gaining exposure via a pivotal appearance on a Kitsune compilation, Years & Years have taken every opportunity which has come their way.
Snapped up by a major label, the group are set to accompany BRIT Award winning newcomer Sam Smith on his forthcoming UK tour.
New single 'Take Shelter' will be released on August 17th, but to accompany this Years & Years have decided to cover a classic piece of tropical pop.
'Breathe' shot Blu Cantrell to worldwide fame, and also acted as a launching pad for Sean Paul. A dancehall tinged piece of slinky R&B, the London band have previously played 'Breathe' in concert.
It's an intriguing re-working. Slowing the tempo, Years & Years add something of themselves while retaining the Caribbean flavour.
