The Temper Trap have made their new remix album ‘Conditions’ available to stream.
Equipped with a powerful live show and pulsating, anthemic material The Temper Trap were one of last year’s real word of mouth success stories. Operating without hype, the band seem to grow larger with each gig.
Lead single ‘Sweet Disposition’ eventually found its way into the Top Ten, announcing the band’s arrival into the mainstream. Since then, The Temper Trap have been packing up their things with an extended stay in the studio promised.
Due to begin work on new material shortly, The Temper Trap have decided to let a crack team of producers loose on their debut album. Moving from electro-house to dubstep, the result is a mixed affair that sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.
With such a wide variation in style, few will like everything on display. However ‘Conditions Remixed’ is a worthwhile exercise which brings a few radical re-workings to the fore.
Due to be released on November 1st, The Temper Trap have decided to stream the album ahead of schedule. Available to listen to now, the remix of ‘Conditions’ marks the end of a year which has seen the Australian group enter the mainstream.
