'Volume 1' is a swift introduction to the producer, who is leading the latest charge from Loefah's always on-point imprint.
The tape features beats recorded over the past couple of years, with the Bristol-based talent pushing himself technically and aesthetically.
One cut – 'Curtains' – is a definite standout. Lamont explains: "This particular track was made when I started exploring and experimenting with different kinds of beat patterns and messing around with unquantized drums and subs which is something I’ve found myself doing a lot more of recently".
