The afrobeats community can welcome a new talent into it’s midst, landing in the form of Chinonso Bright Agu professionally known as Soul Marley.
Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria – post studying he moved to South Africa to further pursue his musical aspirations.
Releasing his first EP ‘Taurus’ in 2020, the 4-track project featured a fusion of his Nigerian roots blended with his love of afrobeat, pop, dancehall and hip-hop.
New song ‘Lost Ones’ released via Platoon was written at a time in his life when he was trying to find a new purpose and overcome the daily adversities he faced.
The visuals deliver a powerful and emotive call to arms for anyone also trying to jump hurdles in their day to day lives and is a refreshingly introspective alternative take on the sound.
