So why do they sound so brokenhearted? Previewing their new material at St. Pancras Church recently, Slow Club unveiled a languid, meditative, melancholic direction.

It's a beautiful introduction. Sure, that inherent charm is still there, but the arrangement is soulful with Charles and Rebecca musing on the way love can break your heart in two.
